K. M. Washik Al – Azad was the honorable Deputy Managing Director of SS Feed Industries Ltd and the beloved only son of our founder and Managing Director, Md. Kamal Uddin, and Chairman, Mst. Abeda Sultana. A dynamic young executive with a sharp strategic mind and strong business acumen, he played a pivotal role in modernizing our corporate operations, marketing strategies, and supply chain management.
Combining modern business education with deep organizational commitment, he worked relentlessly to elevate SS Feed Industries Ltd as a trusted market leader across Bangladesh. His humility, leadership, and dedication to the welfare of our farmers, workforce, and business partners defined his executive presence. Though his journey was cut tragically short, his vision remains permanently embedded in the core foundation and future path of our organization.
On June 25, 2026, at approximately 6:30 AM, K. M. Washik Al – Azad passed away in a heartbreaking road accident on the Uttara Jasimuddin Overbridge in Dhaka while traveling to Rajshahi by motorcycle. A sudden collision with a truck ended a remarkably promising life, leaving his parents, family, our entire corporate enterprise, and the agricultural community in profound grief.
We honor his memory not only for his strategic executive leadership but also for his character, warmth, and unyielding passion for industrial progress.
K. M. Washik Al – Azad brought a strong academic foundation, analytical rigor, and specialized expertise in marketing and business strategy to the executive leadership of SS Feed Industries Ltd:
Secondary School Certificate (SSC): Completed his SSC in 2014 from Cambrian College (Dhaka Board) under the Science group, achieving an outstanding GPA of 4.63 out of 5.00.
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC): Completed his HSC in 2016 from Cambrian College (Dhaka Board) under the Business Studies stream, securing a GPA of 3.17 out of 5.00.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): Graduated from the School of Business at the Canadian University of Bangladesh, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Marketing and minor in Finance, securing a strong CGPA of 3.21 out of 4.00.
During his impactful tenure as Deputy Managing Director, K. M. Washik Al – Azad spearheaded critical modernization initiatives across SS Feed Industries Ltd:
Strategic Brand Positioning: Leveraged his specialized background in marketing to strengthen dealer relationships, refine brand identity, and expand product distribution networks across the Rajshahi division and beyond.
Operational Modernization: Integrated corporate management principles to streamline supply chain logistics and ensure seamless delivery from our flagship feed mill in Natore.
Youth Leadership in Agriculture: Championed modern, data-driven approaches to livestock and aquaculture feed distribution, supporting local farmers in lowering their Feed Conversion Ratios (FCR).
